Every bird deserves a place to land.
Help us create a public parrot sanctuary in El Dorado County — a safe place for rescued birds to live and a welcoming place for our community to learn about them. We're starting with land, then building one step at a time.
First, we need
somewhere to land.
Before the first aviary can open, we need a permanent home. Our first fundraising goal is $300,000 to acquire suitable land in El Dorado County. Once we've secured the property, we'll work toward the permits and construction of our first 3,000-square-foot sanctuary building.
Progress is updated manually. The current goal is for land acquisition. Construction and permits will require additional fundraising.

A Place to Learn
A future visitor experience where families can discover the beauty, intelligence, and needs of parrots.
Room to Grow
Start with one 3,000-square-foot building. As support grows, add more aviaries and facilities responsibly.
Here's how we'll get there.
We aren't trying to build everything overnight. We're working toward a sanctuary that can serve birds for generations.
Secure the Land
Find and acquire a suitable property in El Dorado County, subject to zoning and due diligence.

Future FundraisingA little more about our plan.
This is a long-term project. We want our supporters to understand where we're starting and how we plan to grow.
What does the first $300,000 pay for?
Our current fundraising target is for purchasing suitable land. Permits, site preparation, utilities, and construction will require additional fundraising.
Will people be able to visit?
That's our vision! We hope to create an educational visitor experience where people can see beautiful parrots and learn about their care. Public access will depend on the required permits, safety facilities, and each bird's welfare.
Why start with one building?
We want to grow responsibly. Our first goal after land acquisition is a 3,000-square-foot sanctuary building. Future facilities will be added as fundraising allows.
Can I donate every month?
We intend to offer recurring monthly donations as well as one-time gifts. The available options will appear on our secure donation page once recurring billing is configured.
Let's give these birds a place to land.
One property. One first building. A community working together to create something that can grow for generations.
